Description:Georgia Gwinnett College (GGC) is seeking candidates for the positions of part-time health science faculty in the School of Health Sciences. Faculty report to the Dean of Health Sciences. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Teaching undergraduate courses as appropriate for area of expertise. Courses may include but not limited to: Medical Terminology; Healthcare Trends and Issues, Collaborative Care in Health Professions; Drug and Complementary Therapies; and Emergency Response. Courses are scheduled to be in-per and/or hybrid (combination of online and in-person) for Fall 2021.
- Assigning grades, preparing course materials, creating grading assessment tools, using D2L learning management system, developing didactic content, working with a diverse studen and faculty population
Commensurate with education and experience. Minimum and Preferred Qualifications:Minimum
- Master's degree in Public Health, Health Care Administration, or related discipline
- At lease 1 year of college teaching experience in diverse student population, especially coursework in health science programs with consistent excellence in evaluations of teaching, service and scholorship; evidence of teaching in one or more of the subjects above at the adult or college leve. strong commitment to diversity, student engagement and shared governance

Position requires local travel. Ability to lift and carry files and materials. Ability to move from one office to another office on campus. Adequate vision, hearing and manual dexterity to interact with people in person, on the phone and in writing. Job takes place in normal environmental conditions.
