Job Summary

The Office of Admissions isseeking bright and energetic federal work study students to assist in our everyday operations within the office. The students in this position will be assisting with both the Recruitment and Processing sides of Admissions. We strive to provide timely service and a caring, responsive environment for Georgia Gwinnett students.

  • Scheduling appointments for visitors to see counselors
  • Compiling and distributing various information throughout the campus for admissions employees
  • Completing various clerical duties.
  • Assisting with mail
  • Assist processing with document management
  • Compile tracking for specific documents
  • Comfortable contacting students for specific purposes
Required Qualifications
  • Must have a Federal Work Study award.
  • Must be currently enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours at Georgia Gwinnett College
  • Must be in and maintain a good academic standing for the duration of employment.
  • Must be in and maintain good conduct standing with the Office of Student Integrity for the duration of employment.
  • Must be able to handle confidential information.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced computer skills and use of a fax machine, copier, scanner and printer.
  • Highly motivated.
  • Customer service driven.
  • Self-Starter.
