Job Summary/Basic Function:

Online Adjunct Professor position with The School of Aeronautics. Responsibilities will
include but not be limited to teaching material from approved curriculum in accordance with
assigned schedule, providing detailed feedback, mentoring/challenging students to grow
intellectually and spiritually, maintaining contact with students to advise on matters related to
academic achievement, attendance, and behavior, and maintaining/reporting grades and
attendance in accordance with university policies.

Minimum Qualifications:

A Conferred Doctorate or similar terminal degree from an institution
accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education in:
- Aviation
- Aeronautics
- Aviation Safety
- Aviation Administration
- Human Factors
- Airport Management
- Flight Training
- Aviation Law
- Professional Pilot
- Undergraduate Instruction
- A Conferred master’s degree from an institution accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the
U.S. Department of Education in:
- Aviation Safety
- Aviation Administration
- Human Factors
- Airport Management
- Flight Training
- Aviation Law
- Professional Pilot OR
- A master’s degree from an institution accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the
U.S. Department of Education, with a minimum of 18 credit hours in one of the disciplines noted and at
least 5 years of significant and relevant professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

FAA CFI or ATP.
-Demonstrated strengths in teaching at the college level.
- Strong organizational skills that facilitate assignment/task anticipation and completion.
- Superior interpersonal, customer service, and presentation skills required.
- Highly effective verbal and written communication skills.
-10 years of significant and relevant professional experience.

Work Hours:

part-time: 5-10 hours a week
