Job Description:

The Part Time Administrative Assistant (AA) is responsible for supporting the staff (Associate Dean and the Assistant Director) in the daily operations of the Office of Global Education.

Essential Duties Summary:

This is a 21 hour a week position with benefits. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Work with our existing database systems and potentially learn new ones. Prior experience in working with information management databases (or related systems) is recommended

• Managing the day-to-day operations of the Office in the afternoons.

• Assisting the staff with student communication, scheduling rooms and meeting spaces, assisting in the implementation of program policies, and completing and filing various forms.

• Helping to plan and manage events and activities related to the programs and supporting the office’s admission and recruitment-related events and activities.

• Managing Terra Dotta, the application portal. This involves monitoring and communicating with student applicants at various stages of the application process.

• Assisting the Registrar with updating student/academic records and registering all students each semester using JENZABAR EX 5.

• Revising regularly materials relating to visa procedures and handbooks to prepare for the semester abroad/away.
