Position Summary:

The Information Technology Services Department at Governors State University (GSU) is seeking to hire a Junior ERP Analyst to support its various computer applications, including the campus ERP system, Ellucian Colleague on a Microsoft platform, using an MSSQL database. This position involves working with users and IT team members, identifying problems, managing help desk tickets, documenting, and training.

Salary Range: $36,929.61 to $42,469.06 (This is a non-unionized position. Salary starts at the base and is determined based on Education and Experience exceeding the minimum qualifications).

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Any combination totaling two (2) years from the following categories:

A. progressively more responsible work experience in an Information Technology (IT) related profession

B. college course work which included Information Technology (IT), IT Management, or a closely related discipline, as measured by the following conversion table or its proportional equivalent:

- 60 semester hours or Associate’s Degree equals one (1) year – 90-120 semester hours or Bachelor’s Degree equals two (2) years 2. Experience in a customer service and support role directly related to applications and technology.

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least three years supporting ERP systems in a higher education environment.

• At least three years providing technology help desk services.
