The Control Desk Supervisor will supervise, coordinate and maintain campus buildings relative to maintenance and custodial emergencies. Receive requests for emergency maintenance, direct and coordinate the various management, trades and custodial activities. Create work orders, properly document unusual incidents and notify appropriate management staff of serious situations involving Facilities or its employees. Monitor a variety of computerized alarms systems for HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems and direct the appropriate response. Maintain a point of contact for all Facilities activities.

Required Skills

3-5 years of work experience. Associate’s degree required. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Typing and computer skills. Knowledge of custodial and trades is beneficial.

Previous police or similar dispatch work experience with strong customer service skills are extremely helpful. Able to multi-task and remain calm under sometimes stressful situations.
