Job Summary:Temporary, part-time instructor for Fall semester 2021
ACC131: Principles of Accounting 1 Wednesdays 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Teaches assigned courses in accordance with course competencies and syllabi. Develops and/or utilizes a variety of instructional strategies, techniques and delivery methods designed to meet the individual learning styles of students. Fosters a safe and civil learning environment. Informs students about course requirements, evaluation procedures, and attendance policies. Monitors, evaluates, and documents student attendance, progress and competency attainment.
Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Bachelor’s in Business with 18 credits in Accounting above the introductory principles level
AND
Master’s degree in Accounting
or
M.B.A. with concentration in Accounting
or
related Master’s degree with 18 semester credits in Accounting.
OR
Bachelor’s in Accounting and current CPA.
Degree must be from an AACSB accredited university.
*2 years of full-time professional work experience in an accounting or finance related position that uses financial statements.
Demonstrated effectiveness working with populations having diverse values, and/or coming from varied cultures and backgrounds.
Teaching experience.
