Together, our innovation, discoveries and engagement with our communities improves the health and well-being of society.As an important member of our research team, the Professional Research Assistant will support the laboratory of Drs. Peter Anderson and Kristina Brooks. Your research will involve the measurement of small molecule pharmaceuticals in biological matrices to support anti-infective (HIV, TB, HCV) and other clinical research and animal protocols. In addition, this position will assist with laboratory operations, including: inventory management, sample processing, quality assurance, and other duties as assigned. Examples of Work Performed

- Assistance with day-to-day activities with the clinical and animal protocols including:
- management of regulatory approvals
- consenting participants
- conducting study visits
- managing data entry
- quality assurance.
- Assistance with laboratory operations including:
- management of sample inventories
- sample processing
- quality assurance
- Collecting, recording, analyzing, and presenting data
- Meeting with Principal Investigators for the purpose of progress updates and mentoring.
The salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established at $40,000 - $55,000.The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.The University of Colorado offers a full benefits package.
