Job Description:

This position will assist students in the print lab if they have issues with the computers in the lab. Minor troubleshooting, which you will be trained on, will be required if needed. You will have access to a systems admin if necessary for help. You will also be required to assist professors teaching in the next room over if they have issues with the technology. You will be trained on the most common issues that arise. And basic cleaning of equipment with either alcohol wipes or a cleaning spray and paper towels periodically through the day.

There is a dedicated workstation for the lab monitors and you will have printing privileges in the lab. You are expected to be punctual and reliable. We do have processes in place for unexpected changes but you are required to use it.

Expected Salary:

$10.00 per hour

Minimum Requirements:

Must have a Federal Work Study award.

Shifts are typically weekdays 8:00am to 7pm (split across several workers) for Fall and Spring semesters and 9:00am to 5:00pm (split across several workers) for Summer terms.

Must be able to work independently and be comfortable working alone.

Must be very reliable and punctual.
