Summary

The Outreach & Engagement Specialist will work with medical students and social work interns to evolve and support the clinic’s psychosis awareness campaign, Clear Answers to Louisiana Mental Health (CALM). The Outreach & Engagement Specialist will create and maintain relationships with other service providers, and give networking & educational presentations about mental health, psychosis, and early intervention. The Outreach & Engagement Specialist will work with the clinic’s peer support specialist to develop supported education and employment opportunities (SEES) and work with individuals and groups on achieving work/school related goals. The Outreach & Engagement Specialist will work directly with EPIC clinic management to evolve the psychosis awareness campaign to promote and support clinical services.

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma
• 2 years plus experience working in a community mental health setting

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the working with youngadults
• Experience with community mentalhealth
