A postdoctoral research associate or more senior research position is available in the group of Christos Maravelias in the Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment at Princeton University and the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering. The position is in the broad area of renewable energy systems synthesis, analysis, and optimization. The goal of the project is to develop and study new systems for the production of fuels and chemicals from various feedstocks, including lignocellulosic biomass, wastewater, and recycled plastics. PhD required in Chemical Engineering, and experience with process simulation tools and optimization (theory, models, and tools). Appointments are for one year with the possibility of renewal pending satisfactory performance and continued funding.
