This Business Services Coordinator is part of the Business Office Team and provides direct financial and budgetary support to the Department of Kinesiology, Department of Public Health Sciences and 3 administrative divisions providing fiscal oversight, analysis and reports of these departments to the College Business Officer. The position provides reports, analysis, and budgets to the division heads and educates department administrative staff in business operations. Position interprets and enforces budget policies, serves as the main contact for processing and identifying expenditures, as well as record keeping, scholarships, graduate assistantships, part-time faculty processing, PostDoc hiring, non-student temporary hiring, and SHRA staff hiring support, travel and event management.Minimum Education/Experience:
Required Minimum Qualifications: Essential Job Duties:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related discipline; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
University Preferred Qualifications:
Four year degree in a related business function and two or more years of experience in accounts reconciliation, business processing, office management, or human resources; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
The Business Services Coordinator provides direct financial and budgetary supportand control to their assigned divisions. They will work with Department Chairs/Directors, staff and faculty to instruct and assure college and university process and policies; manage and perform daily operational processes to include PT faculty hiring, temp hiring, PostDoc hiring, SHRA staff hiring support, travel requests, purchasing and consultant requests and graduate assistantships. Ability to reconcile, analyze, forecast and present monthly budget reports to department heads and Business Officer. General knowledge of accounting principles, Human Resource processes, and general organizational skills. Intermediate Excel skills needed for reporting duties.Other Work Responsibilities:

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Word;Work Location:
Experience with Malibu, Banner Finance, EPAF’s, 49er Mart, and EGA processing;
Financial report development and presentation experience;Demonstrated ability to multi-task and remain organized; andExcellent verbal and communication skills.
