Position Summary:

The incumbent will be responsible for data visualization development projects. The incumbent will be responsible for data visualization design using Tableau and/or other software as well as establishing best practices for data visualization at UCI Health. Incumbent will be responsible for the development of high-level dashboards to be leveraged across the enterprise as well as establishing dashboarding standards, expectations and best practices.

Salary Range:

Minimum Midpoint Maximum

Annual Rate $86900 $136200 $185500

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and/or combination of education and equivalent work experience
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
  • Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
  • Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • 5+ years as a visualization designer with Tableau, Qlikview, or equivalent dashboarding tool
  • Experience working with large/complex data sources
  • Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties


Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of healthcare analytics experience
  • 3+ years experience with Tableau
  • 2+ years experience writing SQL using very large databases
  • Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
