Position Summary:

The PC will be responsible for overseeing all project operations, managing trainee schedules and coordinating all necessary project sites and operations, tracking training and certification benchmarks, entering data into the secure database, and providing administrative support to the Project Evaluator and other project stakeholders.

$41.62 - $65.23

Required:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

Registered Nurse in the State of California.

Must possess or be imminently eligible to obtain a valid/current California RN license, NP preferred. BLS certifications upon hire (required within 1st month of employment). The incumbent will have knowledge of physical, social, psychological, and nursing sciences which serve as a basis for the decision-making processes of nursing practice. This position leans on excellent clinical judgment, creating and implementing policies and procedures, problem identification, and collaborative communication. Must possess experience in educating patients, nursing staff and community in integrative health practices and modalities. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the College of Health Sciences and UCI Health System. Ability to exercise diplomacy and flexibility in interacting with physicians, nurses, other allied health personnel, administrators and staff. Skill to clearly communicate medical information to a broad variety of people, both in person and over the telephone. Knowledge of the elements of a medical history and skill in history-taking process. Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job. Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload. Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties. Ability to be trained in the use of specialized medical equipment and procedures. Writing skills to prepare clear medical reports, laboratory data and progress notes. Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms. Familiarity with MS Office programs including Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to adhere to deadlines, support clinical and evaluation staff required.

Preferred:

Master's degree in Nursing preferred.

Certificate within area of specialty preferred.

Management experience, advanced nursing practice licensure or certification.
