Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a pool of open rank, part-time faculty positions in Theatre and Performance Studies beginning August 9, 2021. Rank is determined at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with experience. Responsibilities
The Department of Theatre and Performance Studies is accepting applications for part-time faculty to teach undergraduate courses in the lower division, including, but not limited to, Theatre in Society, Applied Performance and Production.
Part-time faculty are hired from the school's pool of applicants on a semester-by-semester basis. Applicants may be asked to teach in various modalities (face-to-face, hybrid, and online). Required Qualifications
M.F.A., earned doctorate, or the foreign equivalent, in Theatre or Performance Studies, or undergraduate degree and equivalent professional theatre experience. Preferred Qualifications
A minimum of two years collegiate and/or professional teaching experience is ideal, along with an established record of professional experience in the field. Evidence of teaching and working with a culturally and an ethnically diverse community. Required Documents to Attach
