Job Details
The primary purpose of the Clinic Administration Specialist position is to perform administrative duties, such as organizing the office and clerical staff support work, advising others on area policies and procedures, drafting reports, preparing financial reports, and developing and implementing office procedures to promote effective administrative support assistance of various programs in areas of responsibilities. The position is responsible for efficient operation of the department and administrative support to department staff in their efforts to meet the departments mission. This position provides support to the Medical Director and other professionals within the department. It requires verbal and written communications with patients, supervisors, nurses, physicians, and other university professionals.This position is responsible for maintaining records, administering the budget, assisting in scheduling staff and patients, maintaining a medical surveillance database and developing and monitoring office operations.
Required Skills- B.A./B.S. or equivalent
- Strong verbal, written and organizational skills
- 1-3 years of related experience
