The Associate Professor/Professor non-tenure track position is a 9 month faculty line position. Teaching load is typically 3 three credit courses each fall and spring semester; assignments are based on qualifications and experience. All new faculty have a mentorship team that guides his/her scholarship and teaching activities during the first year at the College. Candidates for this non-tenure (Practice Teaching Track) or tenured position should have an earned doctorate in nursing practice (DNP or PhD) or a related field and graduate education/experience in a focused area of practice.

An unofficial transcript may be used during the hiring process to assure that the prospective faculty member may be credentialed for the courses they are expected to teach. An official transcript sent directly from the institution is required for the Provost’s credential file prior to the first day of employment.
