- Prior experience with application management, specifically Tableau server
- Prior higher education experience
- Prior experience working with Tableau to create effective data visualizations
- Familiarity with Banner and PeopleSoft data systems
This position will be responsible for designing, maintaining, compiling, analyzing, and disseminating data about the institution utilizing data system queries, secondary data sources, and standard research methods. Duties may include but are not limited to: Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies:
-Provide application administration for UGA’s Tableau Servers
-Assist with the design, testing, and implementation of ETL solutions in UGA’s data warehouse environment.
- Prepare and compile University data in support of administrative analytics
- Assist with internal and external reporting needs.
- Support the creation, testing, and maintenance of data models and reports
- Complete ad-hoc research, data collection, analysis, reports, and presentations using standard research and statistical methods.
- Proficient with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.Physical Demands:
- Conceptual understanding of SQL or similar report writing software and query tool knowledge useful for research and relational databases.
-Prior experience in application support and/or Tableau Server support.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage work flow of simultaneous projects.
- Ability to work independently and in small groups.
