The Hope Center for College, Community and Justice, at Temple University is seeking a Graphic Designer to join our growing team. Our teammates demonstrate why #RealCollege matters: We have collectively lived the challenges of navigating government bureaucracy and cash-strapped colleges, experienced the trauma and perils of living without financial stability, and experienced marginalization along nearly every possible line.The Hope Center seeks a graphic designer who is passionate about addressing structural inequality and racial disparities and committed to joining a team that gets into what John Lewis called “good trouble” on a regular basis.The graphic designer will report to the Manager of Marketing to support The Hope Center Communications Team’s goals for marketing, development, public relations, and policy analysis projects to promote a comprehensive understanding of the higher education policy and the legislative landscape. The designer will work with the Manager of Marketing on the development, management, and advancement of The Hope Center’s mission, agenda and challenges affecting students. The position chiefly will involve a mix of designing print and digital materials, proofreading, data visualization and review, and assistance with key visual projects.It is an exciting and difficult time to be working on creating significant social change. Performs other duties as assigned.Required Education & Experience:Bachelor’s degree and at least three years of directly related experience. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in graphic design or a related field. Proficiency in producing graphics for marketing and communications projects. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
