Principal Faculty - Physician Assistant Studies (Full-Time)

SALARY AND BENEFITS:The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill, knowledge, experience, education, and credentials.

The salary range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Responsibilities
Teaching:

Develop curricular content for the MPAS based on competency-based medical model, adhering to accreditation standards (ARC-PA), and aligned with program mission and goals

Deliver curricular content within the PA program, including, but not limited to:

Serving as course director

Serving as lecturer, and/or small group facilitator

Serve as student advisor to PA students

Develop, implement, and score competency-based assessments

Service:

Serve on PA program committees including, but not limited to:

Admissions

Curriculum

Student Assessment and Promotions

Program Evaluation

Serve on institutional committees as appointed by the PA Program Director

Participate in activities of state, regional, and national organizations to promote a positive image of the PA concept within academic, lay, and professional communities

Administration:

Administrative duties as assigned and related to committee work within the PA program or institution; or duties specific to role within the PA program

Scholarship:

As a developing program, with an innovative curriculum, there will be opportunities to participate in scholarly work in collaboration with PA Program team members.

Perform other duties as assigned and supporting the mission of the program and the university
