The Administrative Program Support 1 position exists to provide administrative support for the Healthy Connections Initiative. This position is responsible for coordinating with community partners, marketing team, and other staff to recruit participants into the various programs offered through the initiative and working with community leaders to coordinate logistics for all programming events; overseeing the process of collecting data for program evaluation and working with the program director to generate reports; and coordinating the logistics for events (i.e. coalition meetings, fundraisers, trainings, etc.) that are hosted by the initiative.

Under general supervision from the program director, duties for this position include: answering the phone and responding to emails; publicizing and recruiting participants for programs and events; disseminating program communications via websites and social media platforms; coordinating all programming logistics; providing administrative support for fundraising campaigns for the initiative; and overseeing program evaluation data collection and working with the program director to generate data reports.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • An understanding of the importance of maintaining confidentiality.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with community members and other program staff.
  • Prior knowledge of or the ability to learn the procedures and processes of the initiative.
  • Ability to gather data and assist in preparing reports.


Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED and minimum of 4 years of prior program administration experience OR Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior program administration experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with the local community; prior experience with participant recruitment and program evaluation; and experience working with diverse populations.

This is a full-time position. Some evening and weekend hours may be required based on program and event needs.
