Job Summary

The basic duties of an Operations Specialist is to manage the flow of a workplace and optimize day-to-day activities. The role involves tasks like analyzing business operations and identifying customer needs in order to bring the two closer together. Operations Specialists are detail-oriented people who perform quality work, with the ability to look at the bigger picture.

Job Responsibilities

  • Analyze business operations, come up with creative solutions to streamline processes, create a plan, implement it, continuously review and improve on it.

  • Foster coordination and communication and develop a high quality, collaborative work environment.

  • Collaborate with counterparts in other work streams in order to learn and utilize best operational practices and offer innovative solutions.

  • Spearhead training programs for employees and coordinate appropriately.

  • Meet stringent deadlines.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Optimize business operations, track and analyze operation activity and department metrics.

  • Determine trends and variances and identify areas where positive changes can be made in providing quality service, improving the student experience, expanding recruitment and increasing profitability.

  • Work in residential and commercial settings pruning, mowing, mulching, edging, fertilizing, testing soil, aerating, etc., to maintain the beauty of our campus.
