Job Summary

This position provides administrative support to the Testing Coordinator and Manager in the Continuing Education and Professional Development Department.

Duties & Responsibilities

•Assist testing coordinator in preparing testing packages for all testing sites
•Drives, delivers and picks up tests at all testing sites
•Packs, lifts and pull child care tests in suitcases
•Provides technical assistance to students on child care training registration and other matters
•Delivers money orders to different testing sites
•Inventories all testing packets, erases and scans testing booklets
•Assists in office duties as needed
•Photocopies exams as needed
•Processes high school exams, including registrations, verification of rosters, and follows up with payment
•Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

•One (1) year equivalent to thirty (30) college credits from a regionally accredited institution and two (2) years of related experience; or High School Diploma or GED equivalent and four (4) years of related experience
•Knowledge and understanding of College organization, goals and objectives, and policies and procedures
•Thorough knowledge of College operation in general and Continuing Education in particular
•Understanding of interrelationship between Continuing Education and other departments in the College
•Possess computer literacy in Microsoft applications, and ability to navigate Department of Children and Family website
•Possess working knowledge of Child Care programs
•Ability to project positive image of the College and its programs
•Possess excellent interpersonal and communication
•Ability to follow through to bring a task to completion and attention to detail
•Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekend assignments
•Ability to work well in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment with students, faculty and staff
