Administrative Associate 2, Office of Information and Technology

Regular, Full-time - MR04

The Administrative Specialist supports the Office of Information Technology (OIT) Leadership Team and staff with complex administrative and clerical services.

Job Duties Include:

  • Manage Leadership Team schedules and calendars
  • Work closely with other university offices in coordinating OIT's involvement in university events
  • Coordinate meetings, projects, and events with OIT Leadership Team
  • Coordinate OIT - wide events
  • Compose correspondence on a variety of subjects
  • Compile, prepare, and maintain Excel reports
  • Serve as backup administrative support to the Associate Vice Chancellor & CIO
  • Take meeting minutes for LANMAN, Faculty Senate, others as assigned
  • Complete requests and submit purchase order forms
  • Manage the front desk reception area by providing work direction to students
  • Oversee student work schedule for the front desk
  • Answer phones, greet visitors, and direct questions to appropriate office
  • Process contracts through the university contracts system following standard terms and conditions
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma and a minimum of 2 years of similar work in an office setting. 
  • Planning and organizational skills; ability to work multiple projects simultaneously; ability to work independently with minimum supervision. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically with Microsoft Word and Excel.
