This position will work closely with faculty to organize laboratory materials for several courses, including introductory biology, microbiology, and additional courses as needed.

Responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to:
•Preparation of organ homogenates, DNA sample amplification, media and culture preparation and solution preparation.
•Organize and maintain adequate stock of lab chemicals, lab supplies, cameras and computers
•Organize laboratory materials for several courses.
•Supervise student aids who act as teaching assistants.
•Perform other duties as assigned.

This is an on-site position; work for this role is performed on campus.

Preferred start date: August 1, 2021

Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree in biology or related discipline, and/or at least one year experience assisting in preparation of lab class materials. Excellent organizational and time and management skills required.
