- Timely and correctly updating student records
- Ability to maintain student records in Banner, SLATE
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational, customer service and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and effectively communicate with diverse populations
- Knowledge of AU policies and procedures with the ability to explain policies and procedures
- Ability to analyze and prioritize tasks; determine appropriate solutions; and work independently
- Associate's degree from an accredited college or university
- Intermediate knowledge of computers and office equipment is needed
- Preferably, skilled in Microsoft Excel, experience in customer service and/or records management
- Must be detailed oriented
- Assist with scanning, indexing, and all other data entry.
- Prepare and maintain student files by managing flow of new documents, tracking transcripts, and updating checklists for all applicants and students.
- Review and process applications for admission.
- Perform quality control by generating reports to check files and/or database for data accuracy and completeness of files.
- Work on special projects for reports, audits or other departmental request.
- Carry out other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Admissions Processing Manager concurrently in a timely manner.
