We value the ability to engage effectively with students, faculty and staff of diverse backgrounds.The Department of Pediatrics, Section of Hematology Oncology Bone Marrow Transplantation has an opening for a full-time Post-Doctoral position. Nature of Work:- This position reports directly to Michael Verneris, MD, Professor in Pediatrics Hematology/Oncology/Bone Marrow Transplantation and is responsible for developing and implementing projects for publication and presentation. Portions of this project will be performed in conjunction with Pharma.
- 100 % effort focused on studying the biology of off the shelf cell therapy, including CAR T cells, NK cells and allogeneic transplantation.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited University with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in either T cell or NK cell biology.
- Experience with genomic/epigenomic/transcriptomic techniques.
- Must successfully pass a 10-panel drug test through Children's Hospital Colorado
- Must be willing and able to pass a national criminal and sex-offender background check
- Immune effector cell culture/manipulation
- Murine allogeneic transplantation
- Microscopy
- Flow cytometry
- Cloning
