Assistant Professor of Physical Education (Anatomy/Physiology/Exercise Science)

Position: Assistant Professor – Physical Education (Anatomy/Physiology/Exercise Science), Temporary Full-Time (1 year)

Position Description: We are seeking candidates who will be interested in continuing excellence in teacher education at Eastern. Candidates will be expected to teach undergraduate Anatomy & Physiology, Physiological Basis of Movement, and Exercise Physiology courses to Physical Education Teacher Certification majors and to Sport Performance Majors, as well as contribute to the department through advising and professional activities.

Qualifications: A terminal degree in the field of Physical Education/Exercise Science or a related field from an accredited institution is preferred. Experience or expertise (teaching, research, or practice) in anatomy/physiology/exercise science is preferred. Candidates who have both a related MS Degree and relevant expertise in the field will also be considered. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to teaching, scholarly and professional activities, and a willingness to be active in service to the university and community.
