Job Description:

Manage day-to-day coordination of Center activities; liaise with Center directors, board members, leaders, investigators, faculty, staff, students, and community stakeholders on an ongoing basis.

Communicate Center expectations to members and stakeholders; work with the directors to outline the annual goals and deliverables for the Center. Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals annually. Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary. Work with core leaders to set and continually manage expectations with core members and other stakeholders.

Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, required documentation, and presentations. Manage changes in project/program scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans based on the evaluation plan, assess project success criteria and disseminate to all stakeholders. Create annual reports on successful and unsuccessful project elements.

Plan and schedule timelines and milestones using appropriate tools. Track project milestones and deliverables.

Community Engagement and Outreach and other duties as assigned.

Assist with research analysis and reporting.

This position is located in Gainesville, FL or at the Lake Nona Campus in Orlando, FL, and is not eligible for remote work.

Expected Salary:

Salary up to $53k, commensurate with education and experience

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization; or a Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and three years of appropriate experience.

• Experience in minority health research and working with Blacks and Latinx are preferred.

• Good communication and writing skills and experience with grant budgeting are desired.
