Position Announcement:
The Department of English seeks a One-Year, Full-Time Temporary Visiting Assistant Professor (2021-2022). The Department of English at the University of Central Oklahoma is committed to recruiting and maintaining a diverse faculty and to creating a welcoming environment for all.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The teaching load is 12 credit-hours (four courses) per semester. Primary teaching responsibilities will include Developmental English and First-Year Composition; courses in other areas may be assigned as departmental need requires.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
A Ph.D. in English and a commitment to high-quality teaching are required. Preference will be given to applicants who have at least two years of experience teaching Developmental English and First-Year Composition in a college or university setting.
