The successful candidate is expected to fully participate in the tripartite mission of the University: to provide leadership and excellence in teaching, discovery, clinical care, and service. This is a 12-month, non-tenure track appointment within the Department of Undergraduate Health Professions in the College of Allied Health Sciences. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.Minimum Requirements Required qualifications include:
    Earned master degree in a Health Sciences discipline, Healthcare Administration or Business Administration at time of effective date of appointmentDemonstrated excellence in teaching with experience in hybrid and online environmentsPreferred qualifications include:Knowledgeable to teach undergraduate level courses in health care economics, management, innovation and healthcare deliveryHealthcare management experience
About Us The UniversityAugusta University consists of ten colleges on two campuses. The Health Sciences Campus consists of the Medical College of Georgia, College of Dental Medicine, College of Nursing, College of Allied Health Sciences, and the College of Graduate Studies. Bachelor of Science in Health Services ProgramBachelor of Science in Health Services (BSHS) program provides knowledge and skills in healthcare delivery, leadership, cultural competency, global health, bioethics, statistics, and research/innovation. The purpose of the BSHS is to prepare individuals ready to assume medical and healthcare jobs in health services administration. The program curriculum includes courses taught on both the Summerville and Health Sciences campuses.
