STANDARD HOURS: 40 hours per week. Typical hours Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.; occasional evenings and weekends, ability to flex schedule to meet customer’s needs.
MINIMUM STARTING SALARY*: $55,816/year
*Current benefit eligible employees will be placed within the pay range based on their current rate/range.

Provide leadership for Learning Department to ensure efficient operations. Serve as liaison between the College, department, and outreach sites through cross-functional team participation. Manage department workflow and processes. Learning Departments include: Business and Information Technology, General Studies, Health Sciences and Education, Public Safety, and Trades and Engineering Technologies. Serve as liaison between the College and the department. Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external customers. Facilitate, coordinate, and attend College, division, and department events and meetings relevant to position.
- Manage the day–to-day operations of leadership and administrative teams to ensure customer needs are met. Obtain internal and external customer feedback for quality review purposes; analyze and address concerns as necessary.
- Develop and implement communication; streamline processes for operational efficiencies. Identify gaps within department to strategically implement new mechanisms for improvement.
- Independently follow-through and respond to day to day issues; provide department-wide leadership and administrative decisions in the absence of Dean/Associate Deans.
- Coordinate the capital development process, new development, and extra ordinary requests from inception to implementation. Provide leadership in the prioritization and deployment of capital budget initiatives. Oversee department budget; monitor revenues and expenses to ensure operation within budget.
Engage in office management team meetings and participate and/or lead participate or lead cross-functional project and process teams.
Cultivate a team climate, which engages staff to develop and accomplish the goals, objectives, and values of the College. Coach and mentor teams in order to achieve high performance.Manage the human resources needs of the department including the selection, retention, performance management, and development of employees. Train and orient new employees. Communicate performance expectations and provide positive and constructive feedback. Plan, direct and coordinate the class scheduling process for department. Research and analyze data, calculate statistics for reports using historical or trend data. Compile and retrieve managerial data for reporting and planning purposes. Develop action plan items consistent with the goals and objectives of the department and that support student success and College initiatives. Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Leadership Development, or business-related degree.Experience:
