The Education Abroad Enrollment and Database Manager works under the leadership of the Director of Education Abroad with direct supervision from the Assistant Director of Global Health, Safety and Security. This position manages the student enrollment process and provides support for a large and diverse student clientele in the Education Abroad Office (EAO) of Global Carolina. This position works collaboratively with the Education Abroad staff to support the office’s effectiveness in utilizing available technology – primarily the designated travel registry and student application system. Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions):
Duties may include processing student applications, maintaining student records, processing study abroad transcripts, and providing general support for students participating on a range of international programs. This position is responsible for managing data collection, reporting and delivery, and form development and revisions used for data collection and reporting. The Enrollment and Database Manager manages the education abroad application database operations, trouble shoots and identifies system problems, seeks solutions, and provides training to new and existing users. This role serves as the contract and database administrator for the Education Abroad Office, reviews and supports contracts submitted by College liaisons, routes contracts through proper workflows, and manages the EAO contract process for new and renewed contracts.
Masters degree in Student Services or related field and 2 years related experience, or bachelor’s degree and 4 years related experience; experience in collecting, scheduling, processing and reporting information.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience having traveled, lived, and or studied abroad. Ability to work independently and to lead groups of people to develop their skills. Ability to take initiative and prioritize work. Highly organized.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Strong computer skills with knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook. Very strong attention to detail. Safety Sensitive or Security Sensitive:
