We value the ability to engage effectively with students, faculty and staff of diverse backgrounds.The Department of Medicine, Division of Hospital Medicine has openings for Assistant Professor level positions to join our vibrant hospitalist group practicing and teaching Hospital Medicine.Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in the Division of Hospital Medicine, Department of Medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, Anschutz Medical Campus. As a Hospitalist NP/PA, you will work in collaboration with the Hospitalist physician faculty and provide inpatient clinical care to a variety of patients including observation, floor, and step-down level patients, as well as oncology patients. You will be expected to contribute to the educational mission of the group, and a portion of your time will be spent on teaching services that include our Advanced Practice Fellows.As a Hospitalist NP/PA, you will work in collaboration with the Hospitalist physician faculty and provide inpatient clinical care to a variety of patients including observation, floor, and step-down level patients, as well as oncology patients. You will be expected to contribute to the educational mission of the group, and a portion of your time will be spent on teaching services that include our Advanced Practice Fellows.Additionally, you will be expected to devote time to non-clinical duties such as administrative obligations, teaching, or other projects of interest that align with the hospitalist group mission. These responsibilities may include input into hospital systems, development of pathways, and committee work. You will also be expected to attend the group's meetings and educational events. Other duties may be assigned as need arises. Salary and BenefitsThe hiring range for this position has been established as indicated below for a 1.0 position. Salary will be determined based off years at rank and prorated for Division of Hospital Medicine FTE.$96,262 - $120,224The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
