The Visiting Assistant Clinical Professor will be responsible for all aspects of running the Clinic, including course planning and teaching, supervision and mentoring of law students in representing veterans, clinic administration, and community education and outreach. Our Clinical Faculty benefit from generous support for scholarship and pedagogical innovation, as well as being part of an active and engaged NYC-area clinical community.  All Clinical Professors are warmly encouraged to participate in faculty workshops, conferences, and other aspects of academic life at the Law School, including the monthly meetings of an energetic and supportive clinical faculty.

The Hofstra Law Clinic was established in 1973 and is an integral part of the Law School.  The Law School has clinical offerings in the following areas:  Asylum, Deportation Defense, Community and Economic Development, Criminal Defense, Law Reform, Federal Tax, and Youth Advocacy.  The Robert W. Entenmann Veterans Law Clinic is an integral component of the School’s vibrant health law program and renowned Gitenstein Institute for Health Law and Policy.

Clinical teaching experience is desirable, though not required.  Salary is commensurate with experience.
