Requires at least a baccalaureate degree in the field. Please contact your Human Resources office for an evaluation of education/experience in lieu of the required minimum qualifications.

Position Summary:

Partnering with the OIT Applications Team and the Office of Institutional Research, this position will leverage available data to provide answers to questions posed by administrators pertaining to the operations, metrics, and goals of the college.

This position will support data drive decisions by enhancing data accessibility, documenting best practices, and providing assistance to data users within the college.

This position will be involved in collaborating with end-users and identifying technologies to meet requirements for new and existing product functionality, participating in developing system functional design, and assisting in producing user documentation and guides associated with the applications.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Data Analytics
•Manage critical recurring data reporting needs for the College, ensuring timely, consistent, and accurate results.
•Provide ad-hoc data analytics and reporting services as needed by the College.
•Collaborate with end-users to enhance existing or develop new data reports.
•Maintain documentation and functional code.

Business Process Support
•Develop a broad understanding of the college’s business processes in order to independently gather client requirements, perform business process analysis and then represent end-user groups throughout the design and implementation process of the Applications Team.

•Catalog available data sources and content available to the college from University and local sources.
•Develop and promote resources to enhance data analysis self-service within units.
•Provide guidance to end-users on the location and availability of data sources and the appropriate uses of data.
•Provide data analysis and reporting consultation.
