Visiting Assistant Professor/Instructor
Visiting Assistant Professor/Instructor in Business Communication to teach full load of BUS 284 (Professional Communication for Business). BUS 284 is part of the required core curriculum for all Farmer School of Business majors at Miami. It is the second course in a two-course sequence and focuses on an integrated approach to teaching both oral and written business communication with projects on job search communications, bad news messaging, intercultural communication, team communication, and digital communications.
Ph.D. by date of appointment for appointment as Visiting Assistant Professor; Master’s degree for appointment as Instructor in rhetoric and writing, communication, business, or closely related fields.
Position is not eligible for H-1B sponsorship.
Consideration may be given to candidates with teaching or work experience related to business communications.
