Job Description:

Duties include, but not limited to:

Monitoring students in photo darkrooms and computer labs

Checking out and in of photography equipment

Assisting students with basic inkjet printing

Assisting students with basic computer lab procedures

Setting up and breaking down of chemistry in the darkroom

Uphold and enforce all area rules

Clean up of the labs

Advertised Salary:

$10.00 an hour

Minimum Requirements:

Must have Federal Work Study award

Must be able to work at least two nights a week plus one weekend day

Shifts are typically weekdays 5pm-10pm and weekends 12pm-4pm & 4pm-8pm, there are some daytime shifts

Must be able to work independently and be comfortable working alone

Comfortable with handling hazardous materials; training will be provided

Must be very reliable and punctual

Preferred Qualifications:

Working knowledge of MAC computers and Photoshop

Strong interest or experience with analog or digital photography practice
