Job Summary:
Major Website (printservices.byuh.edu) overhaul. Update pricing and change information provided on our Print Services Website. Link our external ordering sites to our main printservices.byuh.edu site. (PSP and Inksoft). The project work will allow students to be able to work up to 40 hours total (approximately 20/20/20/9.5 hours at each job), following a 40/40/40/19 work schedule through the 9-week summer break.
Job Description
- Students will perform Project Work on campus
- Manual labor should be expected. Students must be physically on the BYUH campus to complete the job.
- Projects will average workweeks of 10-19 hours.
- Project Work expected to begin June 28th, however, students must go through the hiring process by the 25th in order to start on the 28th.
Qualifications
Preferably a student that has already taken IT/web classes that can put to use their knowledge and skills from the classes they already took.
Work Environment
The students will have access to a department laptop as well as a desktop computer station area to do work on.
Learning Outcomes
We hope that the students that work on this project will be able to use it on their portfolio as a project that actually helps a revenue generated business and gives them experience in their field of study at BYUH.
