Required Qualifications: Applicants must specifically address how they meet these required qualifications to meet the requirements of the position.:

Demonstrated knowledge in the area of ticket sales

Previous experience in collegiate or professional sports environment

Skill in working as a team member in a complex organization

Skill in customer service

Ability to establish rapport with internal and external constituent

Demonstrated effective communication and computer skills

Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree with additional consideration given to applicants who possess a Masters degree

Experience using Paciolan ticketing software

Experience in graphic design programs such as Photoshop or Indesign

Ability to manage the fiscal affairs of a ticket office

Job Description:

Texas State University is seeking applications for the position of a Ticket Sales Account Executive (Athletics Ticket Sales Assistant) for the Texas State Athletic Department, under the direction of the Assistant AD for Ticket Sales and Operations. This position is full time and benefits eligible.

Job Duties:

Duties include: solicitation and renewal of current season ticket holders; work with the athletic ticket office call center to solicit sales; annual season ticket drives; solicit and fulfill group sales orders; on-site ticket operations for various sporting events; produce publications and marketing pieces for ticket drives; manage and coordinate social media efforts; manage individual game ticket promotions, in coordination with the Marketing Department; attend athletic contests and other events as required; create ticket sales reports; attend university and community functions to help create good will and help promote the university and department of athletics; comply with all NCAA, Conference, State of Texas, institutional and department policies and procedures; and perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant Athletic Director for Ticket Sales and Operations.
