Minimum Requirements Four (4) years of experience designing, managing, and implementing a Student Support Services or similar projects, including extensive experience working with students from various socioeconomically disadvantaged backgrounds
Skills in active listening, critical thinking, negotiation, problem solving, reasoning, organizing, written and verbal communication, multitasking.
Ability in problem identification and reasoning.
Knowledge of advising and counseling technique and knowledge of University and departmental principles and procedures involved in risk assessment and evaluating risks as to likelihood and consequences.
Multicultural competencies; ability to work with diverse populations.
Ability to develop original ideas to solve problems.
Excellent public relations/presentation/speaking and writing skills.
Knowledge of financial management principles including budget forecasting, cost analysis, fiscal control, maintaining cost effectiveness and contracting for services in order to develop and implement office budget.
Skills in judgement and decision-making, problem solving, identifying measures of system performance and the actions to improve performance.
Interpersonal skills.
Excellent evaluation, policy analysis and program development skills.
Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of University processes and procedures.
