The Department of Geography and Anthropology offers a diverse range of programs including degrees in Anthropology, Geography, and Geospatial Sciences, minors in Anthropology, Environmental Studies, and Geography, and certificates in Geographic Information Sciences and Land Surveying. Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a Limited Term Instructor or Limited Term Assistant Professor of Geography in the Department of Geography and Anthropology beginning August 1, 2021. Responsibilities
The Department of Geography and Anthropology at Kennesaw State University is accepting applications for a Limited Term Instructor or Limited Term Assistant Professor to teach undergraduate general education courses in physical geography including Introduction to Landforms and Weather and Climate as well as program electives.
Applicants may be asked to teach in various modalities (face-to-face, hybrid, and online) and courses maybe be assigned at the Kennesaw or Marietta campus. Qualified out-of-state candidates with demonstrated success in online teaching and working with a diverse community are encouraged to apply. Required Qualifications
A Master's or terminals degree in Geography or a closely related field, or its foreign equivalent is required. Candidates with a minimum of 18 graduate level credit hours in Geography along with relevant professional experience will also be considered. Preferred Qualifications
Earned doctoral degree in Geography or closely related field Evidence of teaching and working with a culturally and an ethnically diverse community Experience teaching on-line or hybrid courses for online or hybrid sections Required Documents to Attach
