Wharton Research Data Services (WRDS) seeks to fill the role of business operations management for its growing and dynamic subscription business. The focus of this position is twofold: regular coordination with F&A teams and systems to process AP/AR transactions, primarily subscription invoice follow-up and quarterly Vendor reconciliations; and the development and monitoring of rules, processes, and data integrity that underpin a high performing business operation. This position will work cross-functionally within WRDS and in the broader Wharton/UPENN environment on significant operational matters involving Salesforce maintenance.Job Description
This position includes the following responsibilities:
Leads daily audit of new invoices (via Salesforce), billing support requests (via Zendesk), and purchase orders (via Oracle Financials) in various stages of completion. Directs and escalates issues within WRDS and across to F&A as required.
Serves as WRDS’ primary Salesforce system administrator and supports end users. Manages the collection of requests for enhancements to reports, functionality, and integrations and facilitates WRDS governance meetings for funding and prioritization. Serves as Project Manager on approved enhancements and integration projects.
Develops, maintains, and trains others on documentation that support effective use of Salesforce across Sales, Marketing, and User Experience (S/M/U). Stays current on best practices from industry events and maintains Salesforce Administrator certification. Represents WRDS’ Salesforce technical and process requirements in a semi-monthly cross-business (i.e., Wharton Interactive, Executive Education) governance meeting.
Provides monthly reports on Aging Receivables for WRDS/F&A leaders and facilitates plans for resolution. Supports Managing Director on operational related projects that support financial and productivity goals.
Creates routines to automate and supports ad hoc reports (e.g., commission) for vendor partners. Provides quarterly reconciliations.
