The purpose of this position is to recruit prospective students and to promote Texas State in the Rio Grande Valley. The RGV Regional Counselor participates in all aspects of recruitment, both in the RGV and on campus.
Expected activities include but are not limited to visits to high schools and community colleges, presentations, admissions events, and communication with students, parents, and counselors.
The RGV Regional Counselor position requires excellent oral and written communication skills as well as exceptional interpersonal skills.
