Position Summary

Lead efforts to identify and oversee the development, implementation and sustainment of strategies and digital technologies to grow and differentiate MSU HCI as an academic heath care system.

Lead the planning and development, as well as monitor, the deployment of business strategies to advance the mission of MSU Health Care.

Monitor near and long term market trends as well as emerging need/interests among key stakeholders to forecast future trends and opportunities that inform strategies.

Collaborate with MSU HCI senior and entity leaders to ensure strategic plans and digital projects and goals align with organizational priorities and monitor/measure performance.

Ensure strategies and technologies implementations are well communicated and translated into actionable and quantitative plans for entities and work unit/functions.

Actively engage senior management throughout the planning and deployment process to ensure alignment.

Unit Specific Education/Experience/Skills

Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a four-year college degree program in Business Administration, Accounting, Healthcare Management or field related to employing unit; five to eight years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in financial or accounting practices, developing research projects, funding and grant practices and/or experience in a field related to the area of employment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Work hours are typically 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., but can vary as necessary to accommodate clinic operations
