Position Summary

This is a full time position with benefits working as a Registered Nurse at MSU's Student Health Center. This position will triage patients to assess symptoms and makes medical decisions within parameters of nursing protocol; provide direct specialized care, counseling and instruction to patients; assist medical providers with procedures.

Unit Specific Education/Experience/Skills

Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a four year college degree program in Nursing; one to three years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in Nursing; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The position also requires possession of a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan.

Desired Qualifications

Broad nursing experience to include work in Urgent Care, Womens Health, Allergy & Immunization and Ambulatory/Primary Care setting; experience working with young adults.

Work Hours

Clinic is open between 8am-6pm Monday-Friday with occasional Saturday shifts.
