Job Description Summary

Administer the Network servers, the SQL and Oracle database which supports the enterprise systems and applications; assist in the management of network security and monitoring devices (DNS server, firewalls, load balancers and reverse proxy servers); participate in decision making relating to the infrastructure of the network. Supports, maintains and provisions enterprise systems and applications servers. Works as a business analyst with departments on systems as assigned.

Job Description

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of systems, servers, and virtualization

Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes

Troubleshoot software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues

Provide documentation and technical specifications to EIS staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of enterprise systems.

Provides excellent customer service and business analyst services to departments.

Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience required. System administration and IT certifications in Linux, Microsoft, or other network related fields are a plus
