Job Responsibilities

Trident Technical College in North Charleston, SC invites applications for in-person adjunct positions for the fall and spring semesters. These positions are based on TTC's Thornley Campus for the Fall 2021 semester but candidates must be willing to provide online services as needed.

Candidates selected for an interview may be asked to complete skills assessments, such as a teaching demonstration. Preference is may be given to applicants with previous teaching experience and who are available to teach in-person at other TTC campuses or sites.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

This position requires a master's degree in business education. Consideration will be given to a master's degree in a related business or information technology field. Five (5) years' administrative office experience or five years' teaching experience in office systems technology, business, or information technology is also required.

Preferred Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience at a two-year college level.
Qualified candidates must be familiar with Microsoft Office Suite and proper keyboarding techniques and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Records management and accounting experience is a plus. Online teaching experience is also a plus. Excellent customer service skills are essential.
