Job Responsibilities



Under the supervision of the department head and dean, the program coordinator is responsible for the daily operations of the assigned instructional program(s). The coordinator is responsible for teaching courses, designing and developing curriculum, evaluating adjunct personnel and student performance, and advising students.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

The candidate must have a master's degree in a humanities or languages field, or a master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours in a humanities or languages field. The candidate must have a minimum of two (2) years of progressively responsible related work/teaching experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Teaching experience at the college level is preferred, and the demonstrated ability to work as a member of an academic support team. In addition to faculty responsibilities, the coordinator position requires participation in planning and revising curriculum, the ability to utilize customer service and interpersonal skills, and the ability to function in an environment characterized by continual changes in information technology.

Additional Comments
