OPS Clinical Coder

This is a Family Practice which includes coding for sports medicine, nutrition, women's clinical services, lab and radiology.

Clinical Coder I is responsible for all aspects of clinical billing and charge entry for the Student Health Care Center. This includes reviewing

CPT and ICD-10 codes, researching problem claims and/or denials and ensuring accurate coding and documentation while maintaining

timely claims submissions.

$15.00-$15.50 an hour

Strong knowledge of HIPAA; ability to handle confidential health information in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
Excellent communication skills with providers, supervisor and peers. Must possess strong grammar and spelling skills to convey messages that will be understood.
Minimum one year of coding experience.

1. Experience with EPIC electronic medical system.
